We went to see an annual chainsaw carving contest which a lady friend of ours participates in. This is not her carving but I like it a lot. The event lasts for four days, during which each participant does what they call "quick carvings" but is also working on major carvings to be auctioned off on Sunday afternoon. They typically go for big $$.
