This lovely lodge less than half an hour from our home offered a free appetizer to Veterans on November 11th. Ken and I each had their boneless wings...Ken, the Buffalo flavor and me, the Orange Chili flavor. The servings were abundant and delicious and the view from their restaurant (I should have taken my camera in) was gorgeous. A surprise bonus was that a young friend of ours, who works at Dixon school and at the restaurant several evenings a week, happened to come in while we were there and she paid our bill (for drinks and my wings). It was a blessed day with my veteran!
