Billingsgate Lighthouse

I have seen many shots of several Lighthouses from around the world here on 365. I have really enjoyed them and so I decided it was time to share a photo of Edmonton's one and only lighthouse.
This may not seem so strange except for the fact that Edmonton is located on the Prairies of Western Canada.
Actually this is part of the Billingsgate Seafood Market. The LIghthouse is attached to the market and is a seafood restaurant.
So enjoy a rare sight indeed

It's not that surprising to me. My street is called Island View Dr. and I live on top of a mountain. Nice shot- I love light houses!

We drove past that lighthouse! I didn't realize it was part of a fish market; now that makes sense! Clever marketing. I'm sure it'll bring in the curious. How's the fish? :)
