Preserving The Past

Today l am sharing with the McDougall United Church. It opened on December 11, 1910. It replaced the original wooden mission that is seen in the archive photo.
Thankfully the original church has been preserved and today is located on 1885 Street in Fort Edmonton Park.
Melody's Great Grandparents were married in the little wooden church before the brick building was built.
Great to see a modern building to old design. Lovely image.

A nice presentation, Brian, to show us "before" and "now." And how amazing that Melody's roots go back to this old church! Fav
