Severe Weather Warning in Effect or HELP somebody get me out of here

Yes this is what the first full day of Spring looks like here in Edmonton. We had been told to expect snow but I am sure this is not what the meterological experts were expecting. I took this shot today at work. I set my camera on a metal post near the shipping door set the timer and here is the result. This is sooc no editing at all.
When the wind and snow finally slowed down we had close to a foot of snow that came down.
So I have decided that if there is a nice family living in a warm climate that would like to adopt a really nice middle aged couple please let us know. We are getting desperate :)

well, all day it's been blowing snow around here. the good thing was that it wasn't cold enough to stay on the ground, but there's a bitter wind so that by night fall, the wet ground has turned into an ice rink. nice, eh? i'm actually snowed out and wintered out already i need to go to an island where i can sit by the water and sip some mai tai!

@hjv We came out of the storm just fine. The crash was quite horrific involving close to 100 vehicles and over 300 injured and unfortunately 3 people were killed
