Okay so I am still one day behind as I try to catch up from a very busy and exhausting day on Saturday.
Yesterday was Palm Sunday so I figured it would be nice to take a few shots of one of my favorite church buildings in Edmonton. This is Christ Church Anglican which dates back to 1909. It is a very different design when you compare it to a lot of Anglican Churches. The Church itself is on the left. The building on the right is the church hall which was built later and first used for Sunday School Classes when the congregation was much larger.
Well have a great week everyone
1909 was a very busy time for people moving to "the Territories". Many families migrated and homesteaded in what is now Saskatchewan and Alberta during that time....so we see many historic building with that date.
I really like lighting in this Brian...you must have gone for an early service!
This could be in a magazine; very nice photo.
Unique church - probably enjoyed by many generations of families.
Thanks for sharing - and hope your week is going well.
