So this is my second candid shot in a row. This was actually taken back on the Easter weekend. We had gone for a walk along the Victoria Promenade. While on our way back to the car I saw this lady looking at one of the busts that adorn the walkway. These are replicas of some of the early pioneers of Edmonton who lived in this particular neighbourhood. While watching her I noticed that after she had read the plaque she took out a camera and took a picture of it.
Our spring may be delayed again as we are under a snowfall warning for tomorrow. We will see what happens.
I trust you will all have a great weekend
I really like this. I like how the walk and lines lead us into the picture. I'm usually afraid to take street shots of people. I should try it sometime.
Love the shadows--actually looks like spring. Our forecast is calling for snow here too-- fingers crossed they are wrong for both our cities. Spring is needed about now!
I usually chose to get closer for candids/street shots, but I really like how you've got so much of the surroundings into this shot.
I sympathize with you on the weather. It's the same thing here...
