So yesterday I took my new camera out for a spin. I was so happy with it and what better location than the Alberta Aviation Museum here in Edmonton.
They had a special ceremony to honor the latest addition to their collection. A rebuilt CF 104 Starfighter, that is the one on the far right of the picture.
This was also a first for me as I learned how to use the panorama setting on the camera. So this is showing off just a few of the old jet fighters that at one point were part of the Royal Canadian Air Force. All in all we had a great weekend and I trust you all did too. Have a great week everyone. I will now be posting some of the shots from Saturday along with some of my old ones from a while back. It should be a fun week
This was quite a wide area if you used panorama! Had to get as many planes in as you could! Fascinating - they don't look that old! Very clear picture!
@maggiemae This museum is located on a portion of the City Centre Airport that has been shut down. Most of these planes in this shot would have been used after WWII
Love your photo and love having a pano setting on both of my cameras. Do not use it nearly enough but have fun with it. So many new things to discover with your new camera.
@bkbinthecity It is so cool and you can take in so much. How cameras have advanced, even for those of us that use P&S cameras. At least we do not have to change lenses, just settings.
