Melody took this one on the way downtown. We were over on the south side on our way home. We had a great day today. Got to try out the new camera, I love it by the way. Took lots of pics and learned how to use the panorama setting. I trust everyone had a good day as well
What a lovely shot of the city!! We shampooed our carpets today...not my favorite thing to do, but glad it is done. Thanks you for "friending" me on FB...sorry I didn't recognize your "real"name right away!!! ;) :)
Great when the co-pilot can snap that shot which would be impossible otherwise. There must be thousands I have only as a memory. Wonderful city-scape capture.
@khirsch Thanks Karin. I have tried to talk he into it. Maybe one day. My knee is doing quite well we will see what it is like tomorrow after being back at work on full duties
@dannydavies Glad you like this one Danny. The camera I used to take this shot was a GE J 1050. It may have given you a website as I downloaded this from a disc that a drug store had saved a number of my photos on
@eyesmile Thanks Gena. Wait until you see our nicknames on FB then you may really be confused. You will have to check out some of our Albums to see what I am talking about
@stevepam Glad to share shots like this. The older building is the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. It was built back in 1915. If you want a close up view of it, and it is worth the look, check out my shot from May 27th 2012 it gives a wonderful view of the hotel
Nice shot, Melody. I bought a P&S to get macro photos as my camera does not take them at all. They wiped out the settings and I did not realize how much I would need/want them. So, I have two cameras to use. My P&S does wonderful photos as does yours. Nice to have something to use that works well for you. Have fun with it.
Have some great shooting day's.
