Well this evening was such a wonderful time. Many of you may remember this group that arrived here from Singapore back in June. We have had such a great time becoming friends and tonight we were invited over to their home for supper. It was a traditional Singapore meal and although it was new to us it was absolutely wonderful. Most of this group will be heading back to Singapore in January and we will certainly miss them but although distance will separate us our friendship will last forever
It is always so much fun for us to have international students in our home. We have hosted so many through the years. At last count it was 62! Some of them stayed a whole year in our home, others were only for 3 weeks. The 62 includes the students that stayed as well as some of them would return visit with their parents for a few weeks more, so not all of the 62 were students. As well as hosting them, we have been blessed to visit those students in their countries and stay in some of their homes. Japan, Mexicco, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaraugua, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Spain, England, Germany, Italy. This is a great shot to remember them and the special times.
