They Missed The Memo

So yesterday was National Checkers Day. I was downtown taking some pictures and I made a stop at Churchill Square. They have a number of things here for people to entertain themselves. There was a giant sized Checkers Game but these two decided to play Chess instead. I guess they missed the memo as to what day it was

I think Chess is more challenging than Checkers, maybe that's why. do they have to bend down and move the pieces or to they a sort of a stick with which they move them into position? great find btw.
