Perfect Day

Government House is one of the most popular spots in the city for wedding photos. Today with the beautiful weather it was very busy.
It was fun watching the pictures being taken.
The one wedding party had the use of a beautiful car as part of the photos.

It is fun to watch weddings. When we are on vacation at the beach we always see at least one wedding and so enjoy watching them. :). Great images of the lactation and action.

@princessicajessica Jessica the building really has a fascinating history. The LG has not lived here since the late 1930's when he refused to give royal ascent to a piece of legislation the government of the day was trying to pass.
The government shut off the power to the building forcing the family to move out.
I will post a picture of the current LG residence

@bkbinthecity That is interesting, and I'll look forward to seeing where they live now. We don't have a vice-regal residence anymore. Our LGs are just given a suite of rooms within the legislative building to use for entertaining etc, and then they either live wherever they already live or the provincial government rents accomodation for them. The Queen has a suite at the Royal York so she uses that as her Toronto residence (I would guess the other members of the Royal family must too).
