Driving home tonight the sky looked like it was on fire so of course I had to stop along the way and take some pictures. I took lots of trees and barns but I'm getting a little tired of the same old stuff so I decided to break out and do something a little different for today's picture....and this definitely qualifies as different.
I like how the towers and fence lead your eyes inward. it's interesting how sometimes manmade objects that can be so ugly by themselves can be enhanced by the beaut around them. And, in this case, the manmade objects frame the beauty of the sky.
Very interesting. I love the deep colors. I have tried high lines and they never look great. I am missing something. I won't give up and use yours to inspire me.
WOW! I absolutely love this, Paula. The colors are magnificent! And I love that you took a picture of the utiltiy poles. I'm always shaking my fist at them because they're in the way of a beautiful sunset or bird shot or something. Never would have thought to use them as the subject. :)
