This must be very interesting when the ice breaks up. I always try to get pictures of Oneida Lake in the early spring when the ice piles.

I remember this happening on Lake Michigan. People would walk out there and all I could think of how cold the water would be if the ice broke! This photo looks cold and I mean that in a good way. :)
