Purple Hibiscus

I have managed to get into Picnik again - thanks to my husband, so I've had a bit of fun processing this one.
By the way, have you read the book - Purple Hibiscus by Amanda Ngozi Adichie?
very pretty...........haven't read the book ....yet? Is it good ?

Well actually I struggled to remember what it was about, so have just looked up the reviews. It's about contemporary Nigeria and is very well written, some say not easy to put down. It gets good reviews. I think I preferred her second book, half of a yellow sun.

interesting titles....I looked Purple Hibiscus up on amazon - sounds like possibility for next holiday.... compared it to Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things which I really enjoyed....a few years ago!

This really 'zings' - you're obviously well into Picnik now! The frame fits it perfectly too. It's all so vibrant.

@mogmitchell It's a photo processing site which I access through Picasa. It lets me do special effects, borders and frames.

Cool processing...I like the beams that emanate from the center of the flower....I do believe God lives inside every flower...this captures that thought!
