It was the annual village garden show yesterday. I did have some success - with the beetroot and the carrots. It's the first time I've entered and it was quite an eye-opener. Things had to be carefully cleaned, roots still in tact, tops trimmed to 50mm. Ah well, I suppose it takes all sorts!
