The spindle tree by busylady

The spindle tree

This tree is so called because the wood is very hard and was used in the past for making wool spindles. The fruits are poisonous.
Very pleasant October weather today so we spent the afternoon on the allotment tidying up, lighting the fire and having a cuppa.
Beautiful capture -- such lovely plumb coloured berries & the foliage turning to the same colour Judith you have portrayed and framed this superbly

I love the little baubles on the tree. Makes for an appealing image of a fallday.
