Botanic Gardens Cambridge

We went on a tour of these gardens today with a local garden club. We finished up here where they've created a bed of plants which are grown on sand. It was my favourite part of the gardens and contained yellow foxtail lilies, cornflowers and agapanthus. The low growing yellow ones are evening primrose. The tour was preceded by lunch at Brown's with friends so a very pleasant afternoon.
Very pretty Judith, I really must visit soon, it's my favourite season at the gardens.

So you had a very pleasant afternoon by the sounds of things --they do this wildflower seeding on traffic islands around Telford-- I think they are so attractive.
