First red tomatoes by busylady

First red tomatoes

Picked today and very tasty. They're a new variety and so far I'm really pleased with them. I think I should have dusted them first as they are below the ceanothus bush which is shedding its tiny blue flowers at the moment..
Great tasty shot.

I can almost smell them. My first year without home grown tomatoes and cucumbers. What variety have you chosen?

Gorgeous colors! I love the little blue flowers with the red and green. Like Jane, I swear I can smell them.

They look good. Now dusting your tomatoes does mean you're serious about your photos !!! Will there be tomato chutney in the near future ?

I can see the blue decoration....good job you told us what the blue bits were Judith! You can't beat a home grown outdoor tomato!

Great colour and detail on those hairy stems. I can just imagine picking and then smelling that fresh tomato smell.
