We went shopping in Cambourne today, a fairly new town on the outskirts of Cambridge. While we were there, we took a walk at Cambourne Nature Reserve. We've never been there before, so it was good to explore somewhere new. There was a community orchard full of apple and pear trees, plenty of wild flowers, and two fishing lakes. The sky was threatening, but we had no rain until much later
What a lovely place to walk and explore. I love the bulrushes, they always remind me of my Mum. She used to have a vase of bulrushes in her hallway for years.
