Clear sky, not that cold, frost did not accumulate of the lens, and it wasn't all that late at night. Had to find a straight shot at the sky, had to be away from the house lights, or the shine thereof. Thought I hadn't focused on the sky, but upon closer examination showed that the stars had move (note: less the exposure time), no flights to Hawaii going thru, so nothing to gauge focus on. Did the black image "difference" to get rid of the anomalous pixels ("hot" pixels? "cold" pixels?)
