Wagon Wheel by cdcook48

Wagon Wheel

A couple of images today for the ETSOOI challenge. (Edit The Sorriness Out Of It). Unlike the covered wagon image I spent quite a bit of time on the editing process on this one. Initial adjustments were made in Lightroom then I took it into Topaz B&W Effects and played around with it until I had a soft, diffused Orton like look that I was happy with. Then I took the b&w conversion along with the original colour version and opened them as layers in Photoshop. I then blended the two until I was happy with the soft, desaturated look. Lastly I applied a freehand vignette to focus on the wheel. Done - the sorriness edited the heck out of it.
Turned out nicely Chris.

@gardencat I hadn’t heard that song before. Good choice. I’d follow your advice but the new song title challenge doesn’t appear to be up yet.

Fantastic editing work. A Super great result. I remember Wagon Wheel as a circular chocolate wafer which was very popular years ago.
