We were expecting a fine day today with a high of 29degC, but this is what the sky looked like at 8.30am when we picked up our hire trailer to help clean out my sisters garage.
The smokey haze from the Australian bush fires has now reached us in the North Island of NZ. We have family in NSW and Victoria, and feel for all those who have been affected by the terrible fires.
The skies stayed like this all day, which at least made it cooler for us while we were working!
A good interpretation of our sky this morning. It was an eerie feeling..Can't imagine how horrible it must be to be over in Australia. Hope you all stay safe.
