We finally left our home town of Tauranga last night and got on the road to start heading south. This was our first night's stop, a free camping spot alongside Lake Karapiro, near Cambridge. We shared the space with a number of other vehicles including some boaties. When we woke this morning it was foggy, but cleared to reveal a beautiful fine autumn day.
