Melissa and I went out in the cold temperatures on Saturday (well, not nearly as cold as today) and drove around taking pictures. It's so nice to have someone go with me and, thank goodness, she enjoys photography as much as I do. The snow hadn't stayed around as I'd hoped it would so I decided to create a little more on my own....lol.
Is Melissa your daughter? Cindy, I just love this shot and it makes me want to be there to see it. Picture perfect wintery scene with such lovely falling snow. It's a fav! I would need 4 layers of clothing to tolerate that cold, though. Brrrrrrrrrr.
@cimes1 - She is my step-daughter but just like my own. She started taking portraits this past year and has actually become very successful. (I am not good at taking portraits at all). But, she does like going out with me on my early morning shoots and I love it. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by....especially for the fav. I know you've been going through a hard time with your surgery and your Mom's illness. Are you feeling better? Hope your Mom is showing improvement. I can't believe I could look forward to 30 degree weather like we had today! lol.
@cindymc Thank you, Cindy. I am not good at portrait shots either, but then I've never really taken one :-) Must add that to my to-try list! I am doing great and so happy I finally got up the nerve to have this procedure done. The doc says it has cured the annoying problem I've had off and on all my life. Not life threatening or heart related, just uncomfortable. I haven't been able to visit Mom yet but check with the nursing home daily and they tell me she is on breathing treatments and has improved.
