Winter forrest

Is the forest alive or sleeping? 1/4 sec exposure with intentional camera movement. I was captivated by the feel of this scene during todays walk.

Very nice, Cliff. Lovely soft colours, and just enough ICM for my taste. It evokes the atmosphere of a walk in the woods at this time of year.

@mccarth1 Thanks Kerry, I"m beginning to find slow camera movement with the right shutter speed can still give me some detail. You're right it is fascinating.

@clifford looks like you’re a natural to me! Another thing you could try with this image would be to mask the woodland floor and the warm up the colour using the colour temperature slider, to increase the sense of depth and colour contrast in the image. Having said that, it is very nice as it stands.

This works well. I like the colours of the leaves on the ground - almost pink.

That is glorious Cliff! I love the pink colour of the forest floor giving a strange ethereal feel to the image. Very successful image!
