Todays walk was at Nunnery woods, it's next to the hospital. Convenient to walk the dogs having dropped a friend off at the Trauma clinic. A cold morning, dense woodland in places and very strong sunlight. I'm always looking for the contrast in light and shadow. The sun was so bright it was challenging to reduce the light and keep the atmosphere.
Youâve done a good job of capturing the atmosphere here - beautiful colours, and a feeling of spring in the air. I like the way the light warms as you look to the distance through the trees. The log in the foreground does interrupt the flow, but it also adds weight to the image.
