Little Malvern Priory by clifford

Little Malvern Priory

How often do we explore what's close at hand? I've only just decided to find out more about this local priory.
Little Malvern Priory, was a Benedictine monastery c. 1171–1537. It was founded from Worcester Cathedral. Little remains of the 12th-century church, which was rebuilt in 1480–1482. It is prominent in the landscape.
It's too true that we don't often enough explore our own areas. I love having visitors to show around as it forces me to research and find out more about things I often take for granted. Great pic!
