A small bunch of cherry tomatoes growing on a patch of unoccupied land. I nearly trod on them; something red flashed somewhere in my vision and I did a hasty sidestep. I would’ve been really sorry to squash them.
I debated picking/eating them and decided against it, I thought there is surely some bird or critter that would need it more than I do.
