It’s awful isn’t it & so many still cut electricity. Watched it on the news tonight….seems to be bad over Ulverston/ Broughton in Furness way in particular.
So awful for these people. I heard on the radio that some places in Scotland rely on water being pumped up from bore holes. This means they are without water as well as electricity. I lived in house in Gloucestershire where our water was pumped up from a well. If there was a power cut the taps dried up!
@ingrid01 no, the trees gone now (almost March) but the house is still flattened) @happypat it was awful some of our neighbours were without power for 9 days @thistle01 how awful Joyce, we certainly don't appreciate things until we are without them.
