I've been out for about 40 mins,it's nice to have some fresh air but so restricting because of the constant need to keep my foot up so it doesn't swell and cut my circulation off. Hopefully I will be able to let my foot down for longer periods over the next 6 weeks but it's still early days at the moment.
I sat in my wheelchair and took this photo, the beach at Redcar going towards Coatham was heaving. The car-park was full and kids were playing in the sea!! This I find extreme as it is only March and the sea temps will be about 9c and the air temp was still only 12c, but it didn't deter them in the least, most of them were fully dressed!!

Brrrrr ! That must be cold -- haven't they heard "Ne'er cast a clout till May is out " ! -- but then they are fully clothed aren't they !! Glad to hear you had a little trip out today - nice to have a change of scenery --keep smiling !
I guess kids everywhere have never heard of cold water - just the fun (which you captured so nicely) of splashing and laughing. Hang in there - things will keep improving.
