As we passed Roseberry Topping today lit by blue sunny skies it really felt as if spring had started. The slopes are starting to green with new growth despite the continual trecking of countless visitors all wanting to reach the top. There was no peace even in winter, the car parks have been continually full throughout the season. There was a time you could have a peaceful walk to the top and not meet a soul but nowadays there is a constant stream of folk waiting their turn to get to the highest point. It wasn't as busy today with temp of around10c when the sun shone.
Nice on black

Fantastic capture of this beautiful landform. I wasn't familiar with Roseberry Topping so I looked it up online . . . very interesting descriptive and historical information. :-)
