I've never been without flowers since I had my foot op 10 weeks ago. These colourful alstroemerias cheered me up and gave me another photo opportunity!

I have managed to hobble a few yards along the seafront this afternoon with crutches, yeh! The temps were10c with biting winds and grey skies, with no chance of a photo, but at least I made it back to the car. That's the first steps I have taken outside. I still have 3 weeks before the cast is removed but it is a little easier to get around now I can put some weight through my foot. It's gonna take some time!!

Beautiful shot. Glad to hear you are able to get out and about a little bit. It will get easier, you just have to have lots of patience. I know it is difficult because I was in the same position as you a few years ago.
