It’s snowing yet again with a minus C temp windchill, the temp this morning was a balmy minus 0.5C. When will we see some spring, the rate we are going we will step straight into summer!
Anyway I have been getting on with my crafting seen as I can’t do much else, this memory book is ready for our new number 3 grandchild due any day. He/she is keeping us waiting and the book is multi-coloured as they didn’t want to know know what the baby was preferring a surprise. The book shows each months growth with room for journaling and a vacant last page for the final result! I have the baby’s first year book ready to decorate but can’t do anything until D Day!
For anyone interested this book and box was made from scratch with papers designed by me over 10 years ago when you couldn’t get the choice of crafts you can today. I thought it made it more personal and very individual. I have just finished a 60th birthday memory book too, I’m so enjoying doing them. It’s hard to believe they start from a few sheets of A4 card!

Thank you for your comments and favs all are very welcome
I admire your talent and craftwork greatly Megs Love the fine and precise work - your eye for detail and colour - The family should be very joyful in receiving such a beautiful hand crafted treasure from you ! A big fav for me !
Oh Margaret, I know the joys of bookbinding and making my own paper (also paper marbling as well!) There was a time I did it all, and I loved sharing the projects with family and friends. I don't do much of that anymore, but my 5-y-o grandson, Dylan, never fails to tell me often how much he loves my art room! I pretty much let him enjoy whatever he likes in there as no one else wants all "the bits and pieces" that I still look at and love! Enjoy that wonderful new grandbaby!
