Our clematis Montana is filling our garden with waterfalls of pink, it puts on such a good show every year and this year is no exception, I just wish it would flower for a longer period.as it brightens up the old cherry tree stump in the corner of the garden.
Nice on black
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated.
How lovely Margaret - I love the montanas with their bright and cheerful flowers - I used to have the white and pink but over the years I lost them -- I am having a bit of revamping in the garden so may purchase a new one when this is done !
Do you say Cle MA tis (accent on second syllable) or CLEM a tis (accent on first syllable)? This is an ongoing discussion with my husband. However you say, this is a lovely detailed POV. The colors are lovely.
Nice with the brickwork behind @randystreat Your question made me smile - I say cle MA tis, but all the gardeners on TV seem to say CLEM a tis. I had always believed in pronouncing the emphasis on the penultimate syllable of most words. I have no idea if one is right or wrong!
I always accentuate CLEM atis but I think it depends where you live as to what accent you put on it Kathy
