Down into the dale

A view along a country road that runs across the hills and vale eventually ending up in Heartbeat [where the series Heartbeat was shot a few years ago] country over on the top right you can just see the start of Egton Bridge which lies between Glaisdale and Grosmont.

I do love this area. Grosmont is always a highlight on the Coast to Coast for my boys too - great walking country and the added bonus of the steam railway!
