I’ve fallen again for my pastel Polychromos. I am a colour head case, my pencils were bought as a birthday present many years ago, I used them then stashed them as other crafts came along. I have many many more pencils but these are my favorites. Just recently the lusted after pencils are called Holbeins, practically impossible/unaffordable to get as they have to be imported from Japan. A box of 150 work out with import duty to about £240-£280. USA can’t get them and I must say when you see the colour pastel tray of 50 I can understand why artists drool over the wonderful colours. A box of 50 would cost around £90 plus import duty! That’s why I thought I would try and replicate the pastel theme.
