Pitt Moor by craftymeg

Pitt Moor

Another from yesterday taken in The Yorkshire Dales which is over to the north west of the country and just below and to the east of The Lake District. It’s more desolate than The North York Moors but has a beauty of its own. I loved this drystone wall and stunted tree growth, I think it captured the autumn feel that went with the 6c temps

I want to re-title this to -- going home !! The sheep plodding along the grass verge towards the dry stone wall and those wonderful weather beaten and stunted trees ! I love the simplicity of the scene ! fav

I too like the wall. I also find it interesting how the trees seem to have their tops out. I like the sheep walking away from you.
