New Row by craftymeg

New Row

This little row of houses are nestled in the lee of the hillside covered with firs near Kildale. So pretty at this time of year. Taken a few weeks ago, today is the most miserable dank wet foggy day, certainly not camera weather!
Nice on black

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.

Looks like you're hunkered down behind the rocks doing surveillance. A nice group of homes, though.

Lovely composition. I find the foreground blur a tricky one to get to work well. I think here I might have preferred sharp front then back. What do you th8nk?

Weather has suddenly taken a dive, hasn't it? This is very pretty. Reminds me of the outskirts of Reeth.

A gorgeous view and equally gorgeous capture of it. Fav. Once during a visit to my son who was continuing his psychiatry training in the midlands close to Stoke, I got to talking with a lady in a shop and she asked me how to I like the UK. I quickly replied that it's nice except for the dull weather and her reply was that that is the reason that there is so much greenery. And I agree with her fully.
