Floribunda by craftymeg

Floribunda

The weather is atrocious it’s been snowing on and off all day so I have started a page in my floral colouring book. This book is absolutely fabulous in detail and composition with 20 plates to colour that can be taken out of the book and framed.

The flower in the photo is a peony rose and although it doesn’t look like it the time it took to colour was about 5 hours. It’s built up with layer after layer of coloured pencil, I was pleased with the result but it’s going to take a long time to complete. I think I will frame it if it turns out the way I want it,I will post each flower as l complete.
Better on black

For those interested the book is “Floribunda by Leila Duly” a textile print designer and illustrator based in East London.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are welcome and appreciated.
