Couldn’t resist even though it’s not December yet. I love colours like this, it appeals to my inner crafty nature, which my hubby calls “pencilitus” because of my love of just a few more pens or pencils!! Can’t argue with him, there is no hope for me!!
Nice on black
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Lovely sparkly colour tones - I can imagine you replicating this with your many colour pencils Fav - I must admit I am starting to get excited with the sparkle and the preparation of Christmas in the shops !
It's very pretty and certainly very Christmassy! Have you heard of Copic drawing pens? My daughter has asked for some for Christmas - they're VERY expensive!
@busylady
Hi Beryl, yes I have them, and loads of others, varying prices, if you want some advice, I’m happy to tell you which ones will do the job without the price ticket! Copics are a considered purchase, mine were about £400!! And in all honesty I can tell you which ones will work just as well depending if she wants a brush tip or bullet tip, both have their merits.
Hope this helps, please get back to me with what her preferences are and I can give you the ones that will suit what she needs. I find you don’t have to pay Copics prices to get the same results.
@craftymeg Thank you so much for the info, and also for the follow! My granddaughter is 11. I'll find out more about what she really wants and get back to you.
Hi Beryl, Copics are an expensive start! I started with pro markers and I still love them they are now marketed under the name of Windsor and newton. Arteza have just brought a set out of 60 for £66 and you can pick discounts up for these. Spectrum noir have a sets which are much cheaper too. They are all good and work in the same way.

Hi Margaret. I think you're right, she expensive tastes! Maybe she's just heard about them and doesn't realise that they're intended for professional use. They didn't get back to me this evening, but you've given me plenty of information to go on. I'll look for something less expensive.
