Starting from scratch..

It’s a lot harder as you get older to pick things up naturally. I’ve always struggled with reading music but both hubby and I decided we were going to make an effort and so I got the keyboard as a birthday present and now we are at least trying. I don’t think I was ever cut out for a musical career!!

I could not read music either when I was about 10-12 years old so I would memorize the songs. I would write the notes in pencil on the keys and on the music sheet. I don't think my piano teacher knew.
