Today was our first trip out beyond 10 miles, it was nice to get out and see spring slowly turning the hedges green and the sunshine making it about 11C, it wasn’t as busy as we thought it might be. But there again we didn’t go anywhere that you would make a bee line for like the coast. This is a view from Carlton bank looking over to the Dales in the far distance.
We are hoping it keeps improving and we don’t have to go back into lockdown. Plans are to open up a little at a time, taking it easy and hoping everywhere will back to near normal by summer. We will get to see our grandbairns in a few days, the first time since Boxing Day. We look forward to that.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Beautiful shot and green everywhere. We are in an almost complete lockdown here because of the Easter season but numbers which had escalated to horrible numbers are going down slowly thanks to the measures that have been taken.
Margaret could you please re-hit the fav button on my shot 'Snowdrop and buds........' as it hasn't registered.
