Tendril

Kitchen window greenhouse, too cold for the cold frame, hubby decided the ideal place was the kitchen windowsill. Now I look out on a sea of peas, sweet peas, cucumber and tomato plants! I’m hoping the weather changes soon!

Last year he was going to have a small greenhouse cleared a spot then decided not to bother because he wasn’t a gardener, I still couldn’t get it through to him that it was worth it if he enjoyed it but no he’d rather balance them in our porch kitchen and even airing cupboard!

Love to grow my own veggies and spices. At least it is in your sight to water frequently. I often forget to water my outside garden....

I'm laughing at your photo (which is lovely) because my hubby did the same to me. I had peppers and tomato seedlings on my kitchen window sill for a while which I did not appreciate! ;-) They're now out in the greenhouse (which we DO have) with the heaters on at night. Thanks too for asking about dad ... he's doing really well. He's had ups and downs over the past 4 weeks, but overall he's settling down well. xx

Wonderful close up and great narrative.

He seems to have a green thumb. Maybe it won't be too long before planting in the ground outside. Still a bit early for that here, too.

I like your story. I'm the gardener in our house, don't have a greenhouse either my plants are in the conservatory, perhaps you'll get one next year!
