Looking over Fryup Dale

This was the view across the vale this afternoon. Everything is still green but I imagine autumn will soon take a hold over the next few weeks. The bracken is still green with just a little autumn colour starting to creep. It’s the first thing to turn on the moor leaving carpets of golden yellow and tinges of flame red.
