Taken this afternoon the autumn colours were beautiful in the sunshine. This is a panoramic view of Captain Cooks Monument with views over the Dale towards the wind turbines at Durham. A glorious afternoon with temps of 12c and blustery wind.

Went for my 10 week check at the hospital today on my shoulder replacement, everything as it should be, which was a relief. The X-ray was fine and the specialist was pleased with my progress, he wants to see me in 3 months when he says my control should be better. Then he said he will review my other shoulder in preparation of my second op, something I am not looking forward to but until then I will get on with my exercises and get my new shoulder working as best I can.
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Such a beautiful panoramic view ! Pleased to hear that all is going well with your "new" shoulder - it does take time . Wish I could say the same re my shoulder nerve block ! -- It has not worked and in more pain now than before with 6 weeks till I see the consultant ! and not looking forward of the next move ( reversion of the shoulder replacement !! ) + my other shoulder is giving me the jip as well !!
Good to hear positive progress with your shoulder. I think one of the key things with any joint replacement is to do the exercises to maximise the chances of success.
Good old Captain Cook - keeps us together!
