In 1867 a causeway was built connecting Victor Harbor with a pier on Granite Island to convey goods brought down on the railway from Adelaide. In 1894 it began to carry passengers. The only other horse drawn tram is on the Isle of Man. The Victor Harbour Tramway operates year round as a tourist attraction.
@golder365mjsmith@yaorenliu thankyou both. The horses are very gentle and strong. They are very well looked after too and dont have to do a full day's work
thankyou both. The horse was so soft and gentle and a ride across the causeway is such fun
