........this little stream is part of the leat system which carried overflow water down into the harbour at Charlestown. The harbour was originally built by the 'Lord of the manor' to move his copper, tin and china clay products across the country and was one of the largest in Cornwall. Today it houses several tall ships and there are lovely little restaurants and bars homed around it.
