The pink primrose has lots of blooms. This plant was recommended to me as being a nice native plant to have in my garden. Well, it is nice to have because it grows in all kinds of adverse conditions. It is certainly a hardy plant. It does have beautiful pink blossoms. However, it spreads worse than any weed I have ever encountered. I have reached a compromise deal with the pink primrose. It can grow on a slope that is difficult to mow. If the primrose srpeads to a garden bed, then I can pull it out of that garden bed. This pink primrose does spread. I even found a start in an elevated (waist high) garden bed!
This photo is for the BW garden challenge, so it is in BW. Please use your imagination about the pink color.
@maggiemae I placed the color version of the photo in my 365 2 album. P.S. I like the color version better. I see the world in color, so it is difficult for me to do black and white photos.
@tonygig@nanm@pyrrhula@milaniet@deu49097@oopsadaisy Thanks for all of your comments. I prefer the color to the BW, but I can see that the BW brought out some of the details better. I wish these pink primrose did not spread so much. I have yellow primrose too, but the yellow ones do not spread and are even difficult to keep alive.
