The leaves are mostly off the trees. Today, I noticed that the tree in the neighbor's yard has buds on the ends of the branches. Seeing these buds always gives me hope that the leaves will come back on the tree in the spring time. I feel blessed that I saw the buds on this gray, cloudy, cold day.
